With that ridiculousness being said here are a few twenty months stats.
Size: Just a hair under 33 inches & 24.4 pounds. He has always been on the small side of a average which seems surprising being that on both sides (specially mine) there are tall genes. I just call him my little nugget!
Clothes: Size 18 months mostly. That's IF he's actually wearing any clothes, he really prefers to be naked and mid getting dressed will attempt to run away from you while he chuckles and screams NO! We have to watch him in the zip up pajamas, he will slowly unzip them, pull his arms out and pretty soon his diaper is sagging from him trying to take that off too.
Favorite foods: Easton has never been that into eating a full meal but he loves his snacks so I try to offer a variety of healthy snacks through out the day. His current favorites are grapes, cheese and pretzels. Sometimes I make us fresh fruit smoothies for a after breakfast snack. He also loves all kinds of fruit, toast with butter, chicken nuggets, Mac n cheese, and refried beans. Of course he has a sweet tooth just like his momma so he goes nuts for the occasional ice cream treat.
Words: Oh man is he becoming a chatter box! He mostly talks in his own little language which is full of funny sounds and attempts at mimicking what we say. Things he says the best/most often: "What's that?" (said in all different tones, depending on what he's referring to), "Shoe" and "Choo Choo" pretty much sound the same. "BYE" he says this all the time. My favorite is when he knows we are just about to leave, I apparently say "alright" in the same tone when we are going to get ready to go because he promptly says "bye!", waves and then heads for the door. He even does it when I'm on talking on the phone. He knows quite a few noises and loves it when we play the "what does a ____ say". The best is when we say "what does the fox say?" and he starts dancing. That will never get old!
Activities: Anything outside! Over the weekend we took his Strider bike outside for the first time and he LOVED it! He is a bit of a dare devil and is constantly testing the limits, trying new things and scaring me half to death. He is amazingly strong and has crazy good balance so he can tackle a lot more then you expect.
Favorites: His "Auntie" Ashley and "Uncle" Ben taught him how to shake your hand. When you reply "nice to meet you!" he just beams from ear to ear...and then continues to do it about 50 more times and to everyone in the room. He loves giving kisses, playing with the dogs, wearing his sunglasses (for about 2 minutes) and loves to "help" you with whatever it is you really want to do quickly but just can't tell him no because he is just to being to darn. Of course he is still loving dirtbikes, quads, trucks and generally anything that goes fast, makes noise, or is dirty. Such a boy!
I say it all the time but Easton is just such a fun, busy, loving boy! We are so looking forward this spring and summer. Spending so much time watching E exploring, discovering and learning new things, and making memories to last a lifetime!
