Sunshine and football

This weekend was a good one. Saturday was perfect winter weather. After the fog rolled out the sun was shining and there was just a little bite of cold in the air. Perfect for playing outside bundled up. We had a few outdoor projects to tackle. Taking down the Christmas lights (no judgement, it's rained every weekend since Christmas!) and we needed to do something with our fence that broke during a crazy wind and rain storm. Easton couldn't wait to head outside after breakfast to play with his trucks and puppies. Such a boy!

After we did our chores we ended up chatting with the neighbors and watching Easton and all the dogs run around. We have such great neighbors and we absolutely love living on this quite cul-de-sac. And unfortunately the fence has turned into a big project that now means we need to fix the entire length of fence instead of just one or two poles. Ugh. Thankfully we have great resources in our family that will make it much easier to tackle. Although it'll probably have to wait till spring when the ground dries up a bit....who am I kidding, it'll still be pouring rain in the spring. Welcome to the Pacific Northwest!

Sunday was equally great because it was football day! The Seahawks won and are heading to the Super Bowl! YEA! We watched the game with a few good friends and snacked on some yummy game day food. It was a really fun time and the guys superstitiously said that in two weeks we will need to do it again. Same clothes, same food, all sitting in the same spots! Sounds good, except let's make sure we wash those clothes first!

Now back to the normal weekly chores. Happy Monday everyone!

Hi there!

Welcome friends to my first post! I've been thinking about blogging now for a while (like back when I was pregnant!) but just never got around to it, so here goes nothing! Please bare with me as I navigate my way through this blog world. Who knew there was so much behind the scenes that went into it!

I hope you enjoy following along on this  journey we call life! Stay tuned for posts about our family, our adventures and some DIY projects around the house!
